JUNIOR DESIGNER

 

Roll Barresi & Associates is seeking a passionate and collaborative entry-level designer to join their team. This position supports the creative team at all levels and reports directly to Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the project team to conceptualize designs and prepare presentations

  • Develop high-quality renderings to convey design intent

  • Create and finalize production-ready artwork based on approved designs

  • Support the project team in detailing and documenting approved designs

  • Assist with internal marketing initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent certification

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator with CAD tools extension, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity in other programs and software such as SketchUp, Squarespace as a plus.

  • A portfolio of professional or academic work demonstrating a strong understanding of design fundamentals (typography, visual hierarchy, composition, and color theory)

  • Familiarity with architectural documentation and process, such as understanding and interpreting floor plans and working in scale, is a plus

  • Ability to work in a team environment, take direction and receive creative critique. Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
