Whitney Perkins , Associate
Whitney Perkins has worked as a graphic designer since 1984, many of those years focused on designing thematic graphics for retail and entertainment developments as well as wayfinding and sign systems.
She worked at Jon Roll & Associates in the late-1980s and served as project designer on Marine Industrial Park and the Hynes Convention Center. Whitney returned to the firm in 2000 and has recently worked on graphics for Hansen Student Center at Illinois Wesleyan University, Blanchard Campus Center at Mt. Holyoke College, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, University Gateway, and Bryn Mawr College.
Whitney has also worked at Elkus / Manfredi Architects where she designed graphics for HMV Record Stores, Champs Sports, Food & Shops at LaGuardia Airport, City Place at the Massachusetts Transportation Building, Sansom Common at the University of Pennsylvania, and Food and Shops at Philadelphia International Airport. At Fitch, Inc. she designed a sculptural neon entrance façade for CambridgeSide Galleria, and signs and environmental graphics for Disney Vacation Club, a residential development with a Key West – themed town center.
She is a graduate of Wheaton College (BA, magna cum laude, 1984). Her work has been published in Identity and Architectural Record.
